Methodology
The economic and marketing analyses, as well as the forecasts, were conducted in partnership with the research and consulting firm C-Ways, specialists in Anticipation Marketing.
The fieldwork for the quantitative consumer survey was conducted by Harris Interactive from September 3 to 20, 2021, in 17 countries: South Africa, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, China, Spain, the United States, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and Turkey.
In total, 11,000 people were interviewed online (CAWI data collection method). These respondents, aged 18 to 65, were drawn from nationally representative samples for each country. The representativeness of the sample was ensured using the quota method (gender, age). 3,000 interviews were conducted in France, and 500 in each of the other countries.
