On the program of this conference
1st part : The barometer of the Observatoire Cetelem
A year of health crisis had greatly tested the morale of Europeans. Surprisingly, a year later, they are perked up with manifest optimism. While some signals have turned green again, such as spending intentions up significantly, other indicators of this new barometer, in particular a still high level of savings and a shared finding of rising prices, cast a shadow over the maintenance lasting of this regained confidence.
2nd part : Circular Economy – Make way for the consumer-entrepreneur
As a carrier of alternative and more sober consumption in response to the climate challenge and the challenges of preserving resources, the circular economy has a great deal of play these days. Do its famous “3Rs” (reuse, recycle, reduce) still have secrets for European consumers? More importantly, how do they handle it in practice?
Through the adoption of new behaviors, the consumer today becomes “entrepreneur of his consumption”, what are the springs?
Faced with the rise of the circular economy and an expanding offer, which channels and players will be favored by the European consumer?
A few words about the methodology
The quantitative consumer survey fields were conducted by Harris Interactive from November 5 to 19, 2021 in 17 countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania , United Kingdom, Slovakia and Sweden.
A total of 15,800 people were interviewed online (CAWI data collection method). These people aged 18 to 75 come from national samples representative of each country.
